Liverpool CSD to Host Livestream Q&A
Tuesday, August 4, 2020
Dear LCSD Parents, Guardians & Staff:
As you are aware, on Friday the Liverpool Central School District submitted its school reopening plan to the New York State Education Department and the New York State Health Department.
The district also shared the plan with parents, guardians and staff. If you haven’t had a chance to review the plan yet, please click here.
We are certain that many of you have questions about the proposed plan and the reopening process.
On Wednesday, August 5, the district will host a Livestream Question and Answer Session for parents, guardians and staff. The livestream will begin at 6 p.m. We will share the link to the livestream later today.
The district has created a Question and Answer form on its Web site so that parents, guardians and staff can submit questions prior to livestream. You can find the form by clicking here.
Please include your name and e-mail address when submitting your questions (we will not respond to anonymous submissions). In addition to answering questions during the livestream, we also will share the questions and answers via SchoolMessenger as well as post them on the Liverpool CSD Web site.
Please note, the question and answer form on the LCSD Web site will stay open after Wednesday night’s livestream in case you have additional questions regarding the reopening process.
Although the school reopening plan has been submitted to the state, it is considered a living document. This means that district administration and staff are still working on each of the topics included and some parts of the plan will continue to be updated up until the start of school in September.
We will continue to provide you with updates throughout this process.
Dr. Mark F. Potter
Superintendent of Schools
